Accessibility statement

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Beamfy is made for blind and low-vision people, so accessibility is the core of our work, not an extra. This statement covers the website beamfy.ai and the Beamfy app for iPhone and Android, published by AtaForge Inc..

This website

Target: the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We go further where it matters most for our audience:

  • body text has a contrast ratio of at least 7:1 (level AAA), in both light and dark mode;
  • buttons and links are at least 44 by 44 pixels;
  • the site follows your device’s light or dark mode, increased contrast and reduced motion settings, and Windows high-contrast mode;
  • text can be enlarged to 400% and the layout still works on a screen 320 pixels wide;
  • every page has a skip link, landmarks, a single main heading and a logical heading order;
  • everything works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator;
  • there is no autoplaying audio or video, and nothing flashes;
  • the page language is set correctly in all 74 languages, and Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu are laid out right to left.

How we test: automated testing with axe-core and Pa11y on every page type in several languages, including a right-to-left language, Lighthouse audits, manual keyboard testing, and visual checks at screen widths from 320 to 2560 pixels.

Known limitations: the legal pages (privacy policy, terms, account deletion, help, this statement) are available in English and in a number of translations; in other languages they open in English, and the link says so.

The app

The app is designed to be used with VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. We are continually improving its accessibility, and we review it with screen-reader users. Areas we are currently improving include:

  • making every screen and control fully usable with VoiceOver and TalkBack;
  • colour contrast of some buttons and alerts;
  • right-to-left layout for Arabic, Hebrew, Persian and Urdu;
  • spoken feedback for every error and every possible hazard.

Spoken answers use the voices installed on your phone. Some languages have no built-in voice on some devices; in that case you may be able to add one in your phone’s settings.

Feedback

If something is hard to use, please tell us, so that we can fix it: [email protected]. Include the page or screen, your device, and the assistive technology you use if you’re comfortable sharing it.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the accessibility enforcement or consumer protection body in your country.
