AtaForge Inc. ("Company", "we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of all Beamfy users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the Beamfy application ("App").

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address, name, and authentication tokens when you create an account or sign in via Apple/Google.

Camera Data: Images captured by your device camera are processed by our AI services for scene analysis, text reading, and object detection. Images are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers.

Location Data: Approximate and precise location data for navigation features and emergency SOS. Location data is only collected when you actively use these features.

Voice Data: Voice commands are processed for voice-first interactions. Voice data is not stored beyond the processing session.

Usage Data: App usage patterns, feature usage frequency, and crash reports to improve our service.

Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for technical support and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and improve the App's features; (b) process AI scene analyses and text reading requests; (c) provide navigation and emergency services; (d) communicate with you about your account and service updates; (e) ensure the security and integrity of the App; (f) comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Processing and AI

Camera images are sent to our secure AI processing pipeline (using OpenAI and Anthropic APIs) for analysis. Images are processed in real-time and discarded immediately after generating a response. We do not use your images to train AI models. Face recognition data (if enabled) is stored locally on your device only and never transmitted to our servers.

5. Data Storage and Security

We employ industry-standard security measures including: end-to-end encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.3); encryption at rest for stored data (AES-256); biometric data stored exclusively on-device; regular security audits and penetration testing. Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Railway with automatic scaling and redundancy.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: (a) AI service providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) for processing — under strict data processing agreements; (b) emergency services when SOS is activated; (c) law enforcement when legally required; (d) analytics providers in anonymized form.

7. Your Rights (GDPR/CCPA)

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) request deletion of your data; (d) data portability; (e) opt out of data processing for marketing; (f) withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact support@beamfy.ai.

8. Cookies and Tracking

The Beamfy website uses minimal analytics cookies to understand traffic patterns. The mobile App does not use cookies. You can opt out of analytics at any time through the App settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

10. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Usage analytics are retained in anonymized form for up to 24 months. Camera images and voice data are not retained beyond the processing session. You may request account deletion at any time.

11. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and data processing agreements with all third-party providers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
